When should I start looking for housing for next year?

In Ann Arbor, leasing season starts early! Most students begin looking in September or October for leases starting the following August. Our large group houses tend to go first.

Are utilities included in the rent?

Lease terms vary by property. Typically, tenants handle utilities to give you control over your usage, but we provide guidance on setting everything up with DTE and city water.

Do I need a cosigner?

Yes, for most student leases we require a guarantor or cosigner if you do not meet income requirements on your own.
